Dearest Creatives,
This week, I caught myself laughing at the most random thing—a man in a full three-piece suit (waistcoat, tie, the whole corporate package) running after a Shuttlers bus like his life depended on it. Maybe he missed the waiting time and the driver couldn’t wait any longer, which is very likely because I’ve been in those shoes countless times—but there was just something oddly fascinating about watching him run after the bus, frantically scrolling through his phone to call the driver.
You know, even in the daily struggles and pressure and in the hustle and bustle of it all, life still finds ways to throw us these little “movie scenes” those funny moments that make you pause, laugh, and remember you’re alive and you’re just living this life; experiencing these things like every other person is.
And so it got me thinking—there are so many subtle moments of wonder in the little things we see every day. The fleeting, funny, ordinary stuff that somehow holds a part of your memory for a few hours or days when you notice them.
So, here’s a little weekend creative challenge for you:
Think of one thing you’ve seen this week—no matter how small, random, or silly—and turn it into a short story. It could be a poem, a micro-story, or even a sketch if you’re feeling artsy. The goal isn’t perfection or an award winning piece; it’s simply enjoying art in the little things.
Honestly, I‘ve realized that inspiration doesn’t come from those grand, crazy moments . It could come from a man in a suit chasing a bus.
Would love to see those representations of your own ordinary but peculiar moments.
As usual, we have opportunities, contents and updates lined up for you on our website.
Love,
Fefe.
