The competition is open to anyone aged 16 or over.
Short description
The competition is organized by The Moth, an international arts and literature magazine based in Ireland.
“ The Moth Poetry Prize is one of the biggest prizes in the world for individual unpublished poems. The prize is open to anyone over 16, and each year attracts thousands of entries from new and established poets from over 50 countries worldwide.
Poems may be on any subject. There is no line limit.
Entries must be in English.
Entry fee
The entry fee is €16 per poem.

• 8 prizes of €250 for commended poems
